Sound Tree Ring – Video Test

This is a test of Sound Tree Rings with some pre-recorded sound. I collected some sounds in several different locations, and transformed it into spiral waveform patterns using Processing software. Each sound has different time length and magnitude over time, which results in diverse waveform designs. These short recoded sound have stories in time, and recorded as artificial, urban tree rings in digital medium. Currently, Sound Tree Rings are operated by computer software (Processing) and mobile application (iPhone/iPad)
